Such a shame, not like the old Tait house restaurant quality. This was our first time eating since new ownership and change to the Bootlegger name. Paper napkins, charging for bread and mediocre food at best. Diner quality at high end prices. Really disappointing.3 small scallops for $14, mussels had a fishy smell and didnt taste right, steaks were small and not what you would expect at a steakhouse
Ate at the restaurant. The service for our large group was good. Food was tasty, although the lobster tail was over cooked.
First time at the Tait House to watch the Backyard Devils. Nice intimate setting and the acoustics were great. Had dinner while there and it was wonderful
A total shame. This is not the Old Tait House we remember from previous dining experiences. The lobster tails along with the vegetables were overcooked. The Pan Seared Digby scallops are overpriced, presentation of food was horrible. There is certainly not a Chef in that kitchen! Do not recommend at all.
Nice rooms, but the worst breakfast ever. Mouldy bread, unbelievable
